U-18 MNT Defeat Serbia & Montenegro 1-0, Advance to Milk Cup Final  

BALLYMENA, Northern Ireland (Aug. 3, 2005) - The U.S. Under-18 Men's National Team defeated Serbia & Montenegro 1-0 this evening at the Ballymena Showgrounds in Ballymena, Northern, Ireland, to advance to the final of the 2005 Milk Cup.

Charlie Davies scored the winning goal to push the U.S. into the championship match, which will be against host Northern Ireland on Friday, Aug. 5, at Coleraine Showgrounds. The match will be at 7:30 p.m. local time (2:30 p.m. ET).

Northern Ireland advanced to the championship match by defeating Serbia & Montenegro 3-1 in their first match and then defeating Brazil 2-0.

The U.S. drew 1-1 with Brazil in their first match of the tournament, getting the equalizing goal from Lee Nguyen in the 77th minute.
