U.S. Soccer Announces National "C" License Retest Information
CHICAGO (Aug. 22, 2006) - U.S. Soccer will host four separate National “C” License retest sites this September. Candidates who received a “Not Ready” grade from a previously completed “C” License Course, who are looking to achieve the “C” License have the opportunity to retest their “Not Ready” component at a U.S. Soccer regional test site. Each candidate is eligible to retest for the “C” License after a period of six months from the completion of their previously attended 9-day National “C” License Course. Once a “Pass” grade is received for each component, then the candidate will receive their license.

Only "C" License candidates who have received a "Not Ready" grade starting from January 2006 may retest at one of the following sites. Please note that you must wait 6-months since your 'NR' score to re-test.

Retest Locations: (Additional Information)
Region I September 22 – 23, 2006 SeaCoast United, Epping, NH

Region II September 8 – 9, 2006 Mockingbird SC, Louisville, KY

Region III September 22 – 23, 2006 Eclipse SC, Houston, TX

Region IV September 22 – 23, 2006 Alameda Soccer Fields, Albuquerque, NM

“C” License candidates wishing to retest must complete and return an application form (download application - .pdf). Once the application is received, a confirmation e-mail with detailed information along with your individual coaching topic will be e-mailed to all registered coaches prior to the start of the retest date.

There is no additional fee to retest, but each candidate is responsible for their own travel, food and lodging costs, if necessary.

Each coach is eligible to retest after a period of six months. There are no limitations placed on the amount of time a coach may retest, however there is a waiting period of six months between each retest attempt.

Questions can be directed to the U.S. Soccer Coaching Department via coaches@ussoccer.org or by calling 312-528-1219.
