BRADENTON, Fla. (December 7, 2003) – The U.S. Under-17 Men’s National Team ‘91s topped Real Colorado, 1-0, at the Development Academy Nike Friendlies in Bradenton, Fla.

A goal from Eder Arreola broke the scoreless tie in the 26th minute, receiving a ball from Kofi Sarkodie, turning and carrying it to just outside the penalty area. Arreola then wound up and hit a shot to the far post that beat Real Colorado goalkeeper John Foley.

After a back and forth start to the game, the U.S. stepped up their attack in the final 20 minutes of the first half.

Real Colorado put the U.S. under pressure in the second half, but goalkeeper Samir Badr was up to the task, earning the shutout.
