U.S. U-18 WNT Defeats Norway U-19s, 1-0, in La Manga, Spain  

LA MANGA, Spain (March 12, 2008) – The U.S. Under-18 Women’s National Team made it two victories in a row over Scandinavian teams who are a year older, defeating Norway’s U-19s by a 1-0 score at the La Manga U-19 International Tournament. The USA’s lone goal came in the 4th minute as Laurie Nosbusch finished smartly off a Tiffany McCarty cross and the goal held up the rest of the way.

The USA defeated Sweden, 2-0, on March 10 and will now face France on March 14 with the tournament title on the line.
