Scholarships

 Walt Chyzowych Memorial Fund

The Walt Chyzowych Memorial Fund has been created to support programs and persons aspiring to the highest principles of life and sport as espoused and exemplified by Walt Chyzowych, a former U.S. National Team Coach and Director of Coaching.

A portion of the fund provides scholarship opportunities for promising coaches who cannot afford advanced soccer training. Several such scholarships to U.S. National Coaching Schools are available each year!

Candidates may apply by communicating with the Walt Chyzowych Memorial Fund by submitting a completed U.S. Soccer National Coaching School application and cover letter detailing, as much as possible, their coaching experience, aspirations, coaching course attendance plans, financial needs and other factors which would make them a desirable recipient. These items should be addressed to:

Walt Chyzowych Memorial Fund
c/o Ralph D Polson
2290 Captain Waring Court
Mount Pleasant, SC 29466
