Development Academy Program Kicks Off in Texas

| As the second year of the U.S. Soccer Development Academy program gets underway this month, the four Dallas clubs faced off in the first games in the history of the Development Academy to feature Texas-based teams. The local matchup will be the first of many Academy games to feature Texas clubs, as eight clubs were admitted in the 2008/09 Academy admissions class.

Nomad SC Preseason Sets Tone Heading Into Second Year of Development Academy Program

| Nomads SC (La Jolla, Calif.) head into their second year as part of the U.S. Soccer Development Academy with a renewed spirit from their ambitious preseason schedule. The Nomads conducted a two week preseason camp in La Jolla before the Under-15/16 and Under-17/18 squads spent four days at the U.S. Olympic Committee’s ARCO Training Center in Chula Vista.
