U.S. Soccer Selects Home Venues For Potential Semifinal Round Qualifiers For 2010 FIFA World Cup

| The U.S. Soccer Federation has announced the three venues that would host home matches for the semifinal round of qualifying for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Before taking the field in these games, however, the U.S. must first advance past the second round, where they face a home-and-away series against Barbados. The U.S. will host the first leg on June 15 at The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif.

Tickets for USA-Barbados World Cup Qualifier Go on Public Sale May 11 at 12 p.m. PT

| Tickets for the USA's first qualifying match for the 2010 FIFA World Cup will go on sale Sunday, May 11, beginning at 12 p.m. PT. The U.S. will host Barbados on Sunday, June 15 at The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif. Kickoff for the first leg of the Second Round series is set for 2 p.m. PT, and the match will be broadcast live on ESPN2 and Galavision. The second leg will be played on June 22, with details still to be finalized.

Former U.S. Coach Gordon Bradley Passes Away at 74

| Gordon Bradley, a former coach of the U.S. National Team and one of the most significant voices in the American soccer community for over a quarter of a century, passed away yesterday in Virginia at the age of 74. Bradley, a native of England, had been afflicted by Alzheimer's disease.
