CHICAGO (March 25, 2018)—The future is now for the U.S. Men’s National Team as 23 players have gathered in Cary, N.C. to face Paraguay on Tuesday, March 27. Several exciting prospects will have the chance to earn valuable international experience against La Albirroja as the USA roster features five first-time call-ups and 17 players aged 24 or younger.
Coverage of USA-Paraguay kicks off from Sahlen’s Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park at 7:30 p.m. ET on FS1, UniMas and UDN. Fans can also follow the game live on Twitter at @ussoccer_mnt and @ussoccer_esp.
“This match once again represents an opportunity for some new faces. The roster has an average age under 24, so for the most part this is a group of younger players that we feel have a future with the National Team along with some familiar names,” Sarachan said. “The timing is right to give these guys international exposure, and they will certainly be tested against a strong and experienced Paraguayan team.”

GOING BACK TO CARY
A capacity crowd is expected to watch the MNT’s first match in Cary since 2006, a 1-1 draw against Jamaica. The area is home to USL club North Carolina FC and the NWSL side North Carolina Courage.
