CHICAGO (May 8, 2020) – U.S. Soccer is launching its first-ever official podcast, providing fans with the latest news and information, behind-the-scenes stories and exclusive interviews with players and coaches.

“The U.S. Soccer Podcast” will be a weekly show and provide listeners with insight they can’t get anywhere else about the U.S. Women’s, Men’s, Youth and Extended National Teams, interviews with the leaders of the Federation and never-before-aired stories from the people involved in playing and building the sport in the United States.

The new podcast is hosted by former USYNT midfielder Jordan Angeli and former USMNT forward Charlie Davies and is available to stream or download from ussoccer.com, Spotify and Stitcher.

The show will soon be available via Apple Podcasts, Breaker, Castbox, Google Podcasts, Overcast, Pocket Casts, RadioPublic and TuneIn.

The inaugural episode of The U.S. Soccer Podcast features USWNT General Manager Kate Markgraf discussing a range of topics, from her playing career and what it was like as a young player stepping into the famous 1999 Women’s National Team lineup, her duties guiding the overall WNT program, leaning on former teammates and researching cutting-edge sports science focused on women athletes.

The U.S. Soccer Podcast will augment U.S. Soccer’s “BEND THE CURVE. STAY AT HOME.” campaign that emphasizes to fans what medical experts advise is the most important way to combat the spread of COVID-19: to stay at home.

As part of the campaign, U.S. Soccer releases fresh content each week for fans to connect with while safely at home. The robust suite of content and contests for supporters to enjoy, learn and engage with is available at ussoccer.com/bendthecurve.
