Bio

Tracy Mayer was named head coach of the U.S. Power Soccer National Team in October 2021 and led the Power Soccer National Team to a third-place finish at the 2023 FIPFA Powerchair Football World Cup in Australia.

Mayer joined U.S. Soccer from the Minnesota Shockwave, a Premier Conference team that’s part of the U.S. Power Soccer Association's robust club development system. Mayer has coached club teams in Minnesota since 2006, winning five national championships (including titles in 2019 and 2022).

In addition to his club coaching experience, Mayer previously supported the national team in various capacities and has served as a National Tournament Director for USPSA. He also has experience as a referee at the club and international level.

Power Soccer has been played internationally since 2006 and is the first competitive team sport developed specifically for power wheelchair users.
