32 Players Gather For U-17 USWNT Camp At U.S. Soccer National Training Center In Carson, Calif.
Camp in Carson, Calif. Part of USA’s Preparations for Concacaf World Cup Qualifying Early Next Year
CHICAGO (Oct. 28, 2019) – The U.S. Under-17 Women’s National Team will gather for a week-long training camp from Nov. 4-10 at the U.S. Soccer National Training Center in Carson, Calif. It will be the final camp of the year for this age group.
U.S. head coach Tracey Kevins has called up 32 players, 28 born in 2003, which is the age cut-off year to be eligible for the 2020 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup to be held in India. The remaining four players, including forward Allyson Sentnor, who leads the team in scoring this year with six international goals, were born in 2004.
The U-17 USWNT went 9-1-1 in international competition this year while scoring 37 goals and allowing nine.
The training camp will run concurrently with a U.S. Under-20 Women’s National Team camp.
