  • Eight of the 11 starters also began last month’s home fixture against Cuba: Guzan, Ream, Lovitz, Yueill, McKennie, Roldan, Morris and Sargent.

  • Tim Ream captains the team for the sixth time tonight.

  • Ream partners with Aaron Long in central defense for the fourth time tonight.

  • With three goals and four assists, Jordan Morris has been part of seven of the 12 goals scored in the team’s last four matches.

  • Earning his 15th cap of the year tonight, Paul Arriola ties substitute Gyasi Zardes for the team’s appearance lead in 2019. 

  • Thanks to his hat trick in last month’s 7-0 win against Cuba, Weston McKennie sits tied for the scoring lead in Nations League A with Nahki Wells (Bermuda), Junior Hoilett (Canada) and José Juan Macías (Mexico).

  • McKennie and Josh Sargent come into the match on caution watch. Should either receive a yellow card tonight against Cuba, they will be suspended for the USMNT’s next competitive match.

  • The USMNT is 3-1-2 all-time in neutral-site Concacaf matches. The last instance came in a 2-2 World Cup Qualifying draw against Guatemala in San Salvador, El Salvador on Dec. 21, 1996.
