Two-Time U-20 World Cup Defender Kaleigh Riehl Added to USWNT ID Camp Roster

CHICAGO (Dec. 10, 2019) – U.S. Women’s National Team head coach Vlatko Andonovski has made one final addition to the roster for the U.S. Women’s National Team Identification Training Camp that started today in Bradenton, Florida, calling in former U-20 USWNT captain Kaleigh Riehl.

Riehl, who finished her senior season at Penn State this fall, was a member of two FIFA Under-20 Women’s World Cups teams for the USA. She was a key player on the U.S. team that made the semifinal round at the 2016 tournament in Papua New Guinea. She was a reserve on the USA’s 2014 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Team in Canada.

Riehl, a rock on the backline for Penn State during her career, played in a remarkable 101 career games for the Nittany Lions, all starts. She has also played with the U-23 USWNT.

The addition of Riehl brings the U.S. roster for the ID camp back to 24 players.
