CHICAGO (Dec. 6, 2019) – U.S. Soccer is proud to celebrate our passionate National Team fans with the third annual U.S. Soccer Fan Week. The week-long celebration from Monday, Dec. 9 through Friday, Dec. 13 showcases and thanks U.S. Soccer fans for their commitment and support of U.S. Soccer’s National Teams.
This year’s Fan Week officially kicks off on Monday, Dec. 9, with a special giveaway of a pair of ultimate fan tickets and a training ball from the USMNT’s Concacaf Gold Cup run signed by head coach Gregg Berhalter.
Fan week will continue through Friday, Dec. 13, with daily offers from the official U.S. Soccer Store as well as a suite of daily giveaways from U.S. Soccer and its participating partners Volkswagen, Visa, AT&T, Coca-Cola, Deloitte, Continental Tire, Cutter Insect Repellent, Headspace, Thorne, KT Tape and Kwik Goal. Additionally, there will be special messages from Women’s National Team players, exclusive content spotlighting some of U.S. Soccer’s biggest fans, and a fan vote on an all new Captain’s armband design.
From Wednesday to Friday, all U.S. Soccer Insiders will have the opportunity to experience a free Open House tour of the National Soccer Hall of Fame in Frisco, TX beginning at 1:30 p.m. CT each day. Insiders must present their account in the U.S. Soccer app upon entrance to enjoy the Hall of Fame. Wednesday will also see the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup trophy on display at the 2019 U.S. Soccer Girls’ DA Winter Cup in Lakewood Ranch, Fla.
The annual contest to find the Best Fan in the U.S. also returns. Fans are encouraged to submit their nominations throughout the week, share what they love about U.S. Soccer and make their case to be the 2019 Best of U.S. Fan using #BestofUS2019 when posting on social media. National Team players will vote to determine U.S. Soccer’s Best Fan, and the winner, to be announced on Dec. 13, will receive a pair of “Golden Tickets” that grants admission to all 2020 U.S. Soccer controlled friendly matches.
