CHICAGO (May 21, 2020)— As part of the “BEND THE CURVE. STAY AT HOME.” campaign and following the advice of medical experts on best practices for preventing the spread of COVID-19, the U.S. Soccer Federation has unveiled licensed face coverings.
With the goal of supporting different aspects of charitable work in the face of the global pandemic, 100 percent of net proceeds from sales will benefit two foundations: the CDC Foundation and the First Responders Children’s Foundation.
Emblazoned with the U.S. Soccer Federation crest, the masks are now available for pre-order at the U.S. Soccer Store in packs of three with different designs. Estimated delivery time is four-six weeks.
The U.S. Soccer-licensed face coverings are intended for personal use and are not medical-grade personal protective equipment. Wearing cloth face coverings serves as one way to limit the community spread of COVID-19. More information regarding coronavirus prevention can be found on the CDC website.
