79 – With Matt Miazga and Reggie Cannon’s assists against Panama, the number of matches since the USMNT last had two starting defenders record assists in the same game. It last happened when Fabian Johnson and Timmy Chandler recorded assists in the USMNT’s 6-0 Gold Cup quarterfinal win against Cuba on July 18, 2015 in Baltimore.

24 years – With his entry into the match against Wales, Internacional midfielder Johnny Cardoso became the first player from a club outside Concacaf or UEFA to feature for the USMNT in an international match.
