CHICAGO (Jan. 21, 2022) — The dates and locations for the 2022 U.S. Soccer C License courses have been finalized. These courses will be organized and hosted by U.S. Soccer members across the country. Applicants can register through the Learning Center and directly contact the hosting member organization for more information.

2022 marks the largest number of planned C courses. All told, there are sixty-three courses planned, organized by thirty-five members in thirty-three states. “We’re continuing to see growth and it is a compliment to members for making the C course more accessible,” says U.S. Soccer Director of Coaching Didier Chambaron. “We look forward to more coaches having an opportunity to grow and develop.”

The C course covers tasks such as coaching training sessions, coaching games, leading the player, leading the team, managing the performance environment and more.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have held a U.S. Soccer D License for at least one year (or meet the waiver guidelines) and currently be coaching. Candidates will have the opportunity to earn a nationally recognized license from U.S. Soccer, the governing body of soccer in all its forms in the United States.
