CHICAGO (March 15, 2022) – U.S. Soccer has announced that the next application window for Fall 2022 B License coaching education courses will open on Thursday, March 17 at 12 p.m. CT and run through April 1 at 12:00 p.m. CT. Course start dates, in-person meeting dates and locations are available now.

As part of the upcoming window, U.S. Soccer will organize nine B License courses across the country, the most ever offered in a single window.

“We are very excited about the high level of interest in the B License course,” said Didier Chambaron, Director of Coaching Education at U.S. Soccer. “The new course structure offers growth throughout the entire education process and allows for more sustainable learning.”

The B course will be organized over a six-month period (July to December 2022) and will consist of a combination of virtual learning and in-person meetings. The courses will begin with a virtual meeting on July 11, while the two planned in-person meetings will each take place over a four-day period in August and November.

Female candidates accepted into the B License course will have 50 percent of their tuition waived thanks to the Jill Ellis Scholarship Fund, which was established in fall 2019. In addition, as part of U.S. Soccer’s ongoing efforts to advance participation and opportunities for women, the B License course in-person meetings taking place in Kansas City on Aug. 22-25 and Nov. 7-10 will be exclusive to women.

The application window will run from March 17 through April 1, 2022. Interested applicants should review the course details and pre-application checklist in the bullet points below. All applications must be submitted through the U.S. Soccer Learning Center.

Participants at U.S. Soccer’s National Coaching Schools will have the opportunity to earn a nationally recognized license from U.S. Soccer, a FIFA national association member, and the governing body of soccer in all its forms in the United States.
