CJ Olney Replaces Kristian Fletcher on U.S. Under-19 Men’s Youth National Team June Training Camp Roster

CHICAGO (June 4, 2024) — U.S. Under-19 Men’s Youth National Team forward Kristian Fletcher has been ruled out of the USA’s June training camp due to injury. Philadelphia Union forward CJ Olney will replace Fletcher on the roster.

Olney has appeared in eight matches for MLS Next Pro side Philadelphia Union II this season, tallying two goals and two assists. He scored and added two assists in his last match with the team, a 3-1 win vs. Columbus Crew 2 on June 2.

The USA is holding its training camp in South America for matches against Argentina on Friday, June 7 in Buenos Aires and Uruguay on Tuesday, June 11 in Montevideo. The U.S. is preparing for this summer’s Concacaf Under-20 Championship in Guanajuato, Mexico, which will send four nations to the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile.
