CHICAGO (October 3, 2024) – The U.S. Women’s National Team will finish its 2024 schedule with a match against the Netherlands on Tuesday, Dec. 3 at the ADO Den Haag Stadium in The Hague. The match will kick off at 2:45 p.m. ET / 8:45 p.m. local time and will be broadcast on TNT, truTV, Universo, Max and Peacock.

The match will come three days after the USA faces 2022 European Champions and 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup finalists England on Saturday, Nov. 30 at the iconic Wembley Stadium in London in the team’s penultimate match of 2024. The match against the Lionesses will kick off at 12:20 p.m. ET / 5:20 p.m. London Time and will be broadcast in the USA on TNT, Max, Universo and Peacock.

“It was a fantastic summer for our team, and we’re going to take a lot of great lessons and memories from our time in France, but now we are looking forward to continuing our process,” said U.S. head coach Emma Hayes, who led the USA to a gold medal at the Paris Olympics in just her 10th match at the helm. “And in order for our team to keep learning and growing, and for the coaching staff to continue to evaluate players, we need to play the best teams possible. Playing matches in Europe against some of the world’s top teams will be an important part of our journey.”

The match against the Netherlands will be the first meeting between the teams since a 1-1 draw in group play at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Wellington, New Zealand. U.S. captain Lindsey Horan scored the USA’s lone goal in that match off a corner kick from Rose Lavelle. Three of the last four meetings between the teams have come at world championships, starting with the USA’s 2-0 win over the 2017 European Champions in the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup Final.

The teams then met in a friendly in Breda, Netherlands in November of 2020, a 2-0 U.S. win, as the sporting world emerged by the global pandemic, and then again in the quarterfinals of the 2021 Olympics which ended with the U.S. winning in penalty kicks after a 2-2 draw through regulation and overtime. Both of those matches were played in front of empty stadiums.

Of the 11 all-time meetings between the USA and the Netherlands, three have been home games for the Dutch, including a match at this same stadium in The Hague in 2013, a 3-1 U.S. win. ADO Den Haag Stadium has a capacity of 15,000 fans.
