Major League Soccer conducted the 2026 MLS SuperDraft on Thursday, Dec. 18, as 29 MLS clubs selected 90 players from a collection of 50 colleges and clubs. The national championship-winning University of Washington led the way with five players selected, while Clemson University, the University of Maryland, North Carolina State University and Princeton University each had four players drafted.

NC State defender and 2025 First Team All-American Nikola Markovic was selected first overall by D.C. United after leading the Wolfpack to their first NCAA DI men's soccer championship appearance in school history a week ago.

A number of players drafted have represented the United States at the youth national team level, including Duke University and Inter Miami CF’s Kenan Hot (U-15), the University of California, Los Angeles and Columbus Crew’s Tarun Karumanchi (U-20), and the University of Connecticut and Houston Dynamo FC’s Austin Brummett (U-15).
