Viewing Guide: MLS Cup 2025

The decisive match of Major League Soccer’s 2025 campaign is here, as Eastern Conference champions Inter Miami CF and Western Conference champions Vancouver Whitecaps FC battle for their first MLS Cup crown on Saturday, Dec. 6 at 2:30 p.m. ET at Chase Stadium in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

HOW TO WATCH, STREAM AND LISTEN TO MLS CUP

The match will be broadcast live on FOX with English commentary, while FOX Deportes will have Spanish coverage. The contest will also be available to stream on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, and on the radio on SiriusXM FC (Channel 157). For Canadian viewers, the match will be broadcast in English on TSN and in French on RDS.

WHO TO LOOK FOR

A collection of USMNT talents—2025 MLS All-Star Brian White, 2025 MLS Best XI midfielderSebastian Berhalterand 2025 MLS Defender of the YearTristan Blackmon—join Thomas Müller in hopes of delivering Vancouver its eighth men’s league championship and first since capturing the USL First Division title in 2008. Additionally, U.S. U-20 Men’s National Team defender Tate Johnson returns to his home state seeking a fourth 2025 MLS Cup Playoffs appearance as he rounds out a special debut campaign with the ‘Caps.

For the hosts, Miami is eyeing its first MLS Cup and fourth trophy in just its sixth season of existence, having won Leagues Cup (2023), the Supporters’ Shield (2024) and the MLS Eastern Conference Final (2025). Alongside Luis Suárez, Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets and 2025 MLS Golden Boot winner and 2025 Landon Donovan MLS MVP finalist Lionel Messi, U.S. U-19 Men’s National Team midfielderSantiago Morales is eyeing his first MLS Cup Playoffs appearanceas the Herons hope to become the first Florida-based side to lift the Philip F. Anschutz Trophy.

HOW WE GOT HERE

Miami and Vancouver are meeting for only the fourth time; their lone regular season clash went the way of Miami last season at BC Place, while Vancouver picked up victories in both legs of the 2025 Concacaf Champions Cup Semifinals back in April.

Second-seeded Vancouver won the MLS Western Conference Final for the first time in club history, sweeping FC Dallas in Round One before downing LAFC on penalties in the Western Conference Semifinal and cruising past top-seeded San Diego FC in the Western Conference Final. In the Eastern Conference, third-seeded Miami pulled out a 2-1 series victory against Nashville SC in Round One, later constructing a pair of convincing victories by a four-goal margin against both FC Cincinnati in the Eastern Conference Semifinal and New York City FC in the Eastern Conference Final, claiming the Eastern Conference crown for the first time.
