ATLANTA (March 9, 2026) - U.S. Men’s Cerebral Palsy (CP) National Team head coach Stuart Sharp has named a 19-player roster for the team’s first training camp of 2026 to be held March 11-15 in Lakewood Ranch, Fla. The camp kicks off a big year for the CP MNT as it begins its preparation for the 2026 IFCPF Cerebral Palsy World Cup this fall.
The upcoming camp is part of the Federation’s continued focus on the U.S. Way philosophy, which emphasizes increased programming for the Extended National Teams – including the CP National Teams – to ensure they are fully prepared to compete and succeed on the world stage.
“I am looking forward to getting the group back together for the first camp of what is a big World Cup year ahead for us,” said Sharp. “We’ll build on the standards and success from last year, while welcoming back players who weren’t part of the Copa América campaign and integrating new talent into the environment. This camp sets the tone for the year ahead, with a clear focus on progressing our competitive objectives as we prepare for the World Cup.”
Sharp’s squad features 13 of the 14 players who helped the USA claim its first major trophy at the 2025 IFCPF Copa America last October in Punta del Este, Uruguay, including 2025 Male CP Player of the Year, midfielder Ben Lindau (Chicago, Ill.), as well as both runners-up, forward Shea Hammond (Montclair, N.J.) and goalkeeper Marc Estrella (Bakersfield, Calif.).
The camp will also mark the returns of two of the most experienced veterans in the player pool, with goalkeeper Sean Boyle (Minneapolis, Minn.) back in camp for the first time since the 2023 Parapan American Games in Santiago, Chile, while forward Cameron DeLillo also joins after last appearing at the 2024 IFCPF World Cup in Salou, Spain.
The March gathering will also see two players make their CP MNT camp debut, as the team welcomes midfielder Leonardo Balboni (Montvale, N.J.) and forward Abraham Villalobos (Salem, Ore.).
