Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the USWNT’s SheBelieves Cup match against Colombia on Saturday, March 7 in Harrison, New Jersey

HARRISON, N.J. – The final match day of the 2026 SheBelieves Cup, presented by Visa, is this Saturday, March 7, with the U.S. Women’s National Team needing either a win or draw against Colombia to claim its eighth SheBelieves Cup title.

Here’s everything you need to know heading into the match:

1. Sentnor Strikes Again

Forward Ally Sentnor scored the game-winner in the 1-0 victory against Canada on March 4. Her finish off a half-volley in the 55th minute was her seventh international goal in just her 17th appearance. She now leads the team with three goals this year following her brace against Paraguay on January 24.

“I always have so much joy scoring for this team, playing for this team,” Sentnor said. “It was just a really fun moment in front of a great crowd.”

Sentnor has now scored in back-to-back SheBelieves Cups. Her first international goal came in last year’s SheBelieves Cup opener where she smashed a beautiful strike from distance to secure the 2-0 win against Colombia. She followed it up with another goal six days later in the finale against Japan.

2. History in Harrison

The USWNT will play its fourth SheBelieves Cup match at Sports Illustrated Stadium (formerly Red Bull Arena) this weekend. The venue previously hosted the tournament in 2017, 2018 and 2020, and the U.S. has a 1W-1L-1D record in the venue at the SheBelieves Cup. Outside of the SBC, the U.S. holds at 4W-0L-1D record in Harrison, N.J. The last time the USWNT competed at the venue was in a pre-Olympic friendly in 2024. Forwards Sophia Wilson and Mallory Swanson connected to lead the USWNT to a 1-0 win over Mexico.

3. Another Clash With Las Cafeteras

Saturday will mark the second time in SheBelieves Cup history that the USA has faced Colombia. Last year, the USA won 2-0 behind goals from Sentnor and forward Catarina Macario. The two programs have met 14 times in the series history, and the USWNT has dominated with a 12W-0L-2D record, outscoring Colombia 43-2. The only goals from Las Cafeteras came in a 2-2 draw in their final group stage match of the 2016 Rio Olympics.

4. Honoring Heath

Prolific attacker and USWNT legend Tobin Heath will be honored on Saturday with a pregame retirement celebration. The New Jersey native competed with the U.S. for over a decade, helping the team win two Olympic gold medals and back-to-back FIFA Women’s World Cup titles.

“[Tobin] just brought a flair and a swagger to the women's game that we rarely see, and I don't think anyone will ever do it like her again,” midfielder Sam Coffey said. “She is a special player but an even more special person, and I'm just so excited to celebrate her. She deserves all the flowers.”

5. Last Match Before Japan Tri-Series

Saturday’s SheBelieves Cup finale marks just over a month until the USWNT heads to the West Coast to play three matches against long-time rival Japan. All three matches will be played in NWSL venues, starting on April 11 at PayPal Park in San Jose, Calif., home to Bay FC and newly-signed Claire Hutton. The second match on April 14 kicks off at Lumen Field in Seattle, Wash., home to Seattle Reign FC. The final match will be on April 17 at DICK’S Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colo., home of expansion club Denver Summit, which U.S. captain Lindsey Heaps will join this summer.
