Morgan Church Selects 12-Player U.S. Women's Beach Soccer National Team Roster For 2026 Acapulco Beach Soccer Cup
Beach WNT to Face Brazil, Mexico and Japan From April 9-11 at Arena GNP Seguros

ATLANTA (April 3, 2026) – U.S. Women’s Beach Soccer National Team head coach Morgan Church has selected a 12-player roster for the team’s participation in the 2026 BSWW Acapulco Beach Soccer Cup to be held April 9-11 at Arena GNP Seguros in Acapulco, Mexico.
Taking part in the prestigious tournament for the third time, the Beach WNT previously won the competition in 2023, before finishing as runner-up the following year. This time around, the USA will open up against Brazil in just the second ever meeting between the two sides on April 9 (7 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. local), face hosts Mexico on April 10 (10 p.m. ET / 8 p.m. local) and close out with its first-ever match against Japan on April 11 (7 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. local). All matches will be broadcast live via the All Women’s Sports Network.
“We’re looking forward to the challenge that the Acapulco Cup will bring,” Church said. “This competition is special because of the quality of the opponents and the atmosphere this stadium creates. It’s a valuable opportunity for us to test ourselves against different styles of play in meaningful games. We know the level will be high, and that’s exactly what we want, opponents who push us and make us better. We’re proud of the depth within this roster and excited to see this group come together and compete at a high level.
Ten of the 12 players were part of the USA’s friendly series away to the Bahamas in January. After missing out on those matches, Grace Bailey and Jen Munoz are in line to make their Beach WNT debuts this month in Mexico.
Four players were part of the squad that won the 2023 Acapulco Beach Soccer Cup. Goalkeeper Gabby Batmani backstopped the side through all three matches, while Jeané Sunseri-Warp, Ali Hall and Hannah Adler each scored in the 5-4 extra time win against the Bahamas to clinch the Beach WNT’s second ever tournament title.
Adler, Batmani and Sunseri-Warp were also on the 2024 roster, along with Vanessa Valentine and Marissa Vasquez as the USA bounced back from a 4-2 defeat to Spain with a 4-0 win against Mexico and 6-4 victory against Costa Rica to claim second place.
This camp is a key component of the U.S. Way philosophy, which prioritizes strategic investment in resources, infrastructure, and holistic support for the Federation’s Extended National Teams —including the Beach Soccer National Teams — to ensure they are equipped to compete and succeed at the highest levels of international play.
