The First Events at the Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center
ADAPTandTHRIVE will take place at the National Training Center in Fayetteville, Ga. from May 18-24

The Arthur M. Blank National Training Center is a stunning achievement in scale and design, and soccer players are ready to take the pitch at U.S. Soccer’s beautiful new home.
The first to train on the pitches at the new National Training Center were youth soccer players, bringing to life Thursday’s ribbon-cutting theme that the facility will build the next generation of stars and leaders.
One day after the National Training Center’s grand opening, Women’s Youth National Team head coaches Tori Pressley and Katie Schoepfer welcomed youth girls’ soccer players. Under-9 and U-10 teams from local Atlanta club AFC Lightning took to the indoor pitch for the first session at U.S. Soccer’s new headquarters in Fayetteville, Ga.
Later in the day, Men’s Youth National Team coaches Alex Aldaz and Ross Brady welcomed U-6 and U-7 boys’ teams from AFC Lightning.
It won’t be long before players from the U.S. Soccer’s National Teams lace up their boots and flood the beautiful, bucolic campus, making use of these excellent and accessible resources. Here are some of the first events taking place at the new facility as the National Training Center opens its inaugural summer:
U-14 Boys’ Talent Identification camp, May 8-13
The first-ever camp to take place at the new National Training Center will be the U-14 Boys’ Talent Identification camp. In an effort to expand and improve the Men’s Youth National Team player pool, the camp offers the opportunity to discover and develop top talents in the U-14 age group, which will later funnel into the older U-15 through U-20 Men’s Youth National Teams, in line with the U.S. Way. In this camp, 60 players will be split into three groups based on region.
ADAPTandTHRIVE Invitational presented by Haleon, May 18-24
The ADAPTandTHRIVE Invitational presented by Haleon brings in all five of the U.S. Soccer National Teams with disabilities: Men’s and Women’s Cerebral Palsy National Teams, Men’s and Women’s Deaf National Teams, and the Power Soccer National Team, which is co-ed. For this event, U.S. Soccer also invites youth organizations with kids who have the same or similar disabilities. In that way, ADAPTandTHRIVE brings together individuals from diverse soccer backgrounds and abilities to participate in an event and in a space built for inclusivity and collaboration. It’s a wonderful way to kick off the new era at the National Training Center for U.S. Soccer, which believes that soccer is for everyone, everywhere.
Men’s National Team Training Camp, May 27-June 4
Head coach Mauricio Pochettino and the U.S. Men’s National Team will train at the National Training Center as they prepare for one of the biggest moments in American soccer history: the FIFA 2026 World Cup on home soil. Fresh off a roster reveal on May 26 in New York City, Pochettino’s World Cup squad will travel to Atlanta soon after the announcement and begin practice for its final two non-official matches against World Cup-bound opponents before the global tournament kicks off later in June.
The USMNT faces Senegal on Sunday, May 31 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C. and Germany on Saturday, June 6 at Soldier Field in Chicago.
