Schedule Set For 2026 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Semifinals
Doubleheader to air on CBS Sports Network and stream live on Paramount+ on Wednesday, Sept. 16
ATLANTA – The schedule for the Semifinals of the 2026 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup—U.S. Soccer’s national club championship—is set following last week’s Quarterfinals results. The Semifinals will both take place on Wednesday, Sept. 16, with the doubleheader airing on CBS Sports Network and streaming live on Paramount+.
In the first Semifinal, the 2002 Open Cup champion Columbus Crew will host 2022 champion Orlando City SC. Meanwhile, the second Semifinal will feature two teams vying for their first Open Cup title as the Colorado Rapids host St. Louis CITY SC. The winner of the Columbus-Orlando contest will host the Final, which will take place on Oct. 21.
In addition to its 2002 title, Columbus has twice reached the U.S. Open Cup Final (1998, 2010), while the Rapids finished as runners-up in 1999. St. Louis CITY SC looks to add to the city of St. Louis’ rich Open Cup history, which includes 10 total titles across multiples clubs dating back to the 1920s.
CBS Sports’ studio programming will air across Paramount+ and CBS Sports Network, with further details to be announced at a later date.
