ATLANTA (June 8, 2026) – U.S. Women’s Cerebral Palsy (CP) National Team head coach Chris Maravalli has named a 13-player roster for the team’s upcoming domestic training camp to be held June 11-16 at the Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center in Fayetteville, Ga.
Coming on the heels of last month’s ADAPTandTHRIVE Invitational, this serves as the CP WNT’s second preparatory camp for the 2026 IFCPF Women’s Cerebral Palsy World Cup, which will be held from Oct. 14-23 at the National Training Center.
“This camp affords us the opportunity to establish a really nice training rhythm while continuing to build on the principles we recently put in place at the ADAPTandTHRIVE Invitational,” said Maravalli. “We are excited to continue expanding the depth of our pool and look forward to seeing the group jell, as we move closer to our World Cup roster selection.”
Eleven of the 13 players took part in last month’s ADAPTandTHRIVE Invitational, including the past two CP Women’s Players of the Year Jesslyn Kuhnel (Panama City, Fla.) and Cassidy Leake (Murietta, Calif.). Meanwhile, two-time Player of the Year winner Michelle Cross (Mission Viejo, Calif.) returns to the group after missing last month’s camp and is one of eight players that was part of the team’s run to the IFCPF Intercontinental Cup title last August in Loughborough, England.
This month’s CP WNT domestic training camp is part of U.S. Soccer’s ongoing commitment to the U.S. Way, by investing in resources, infrastructure, and comprehensive support for our Extended National Teams to ensure they are fully prepared to compete and succeed on the world stage.
