U.S. Soccer and Leading Streetwear Brands Celebrate Soccer’s Expanding Cultural Influence Across America
Collaborations with leading designers and streetwear brands place soccer at the center of American culture ahead of 2026

ATLANTA (June 8, 2026) — U.S. Soccer today announced a first-of-its-kind collaboration bringing together 11 influential streetwear brands across all 11 FIFA World Cup host cities in the United States to create limited-edition collections celebrating the intersection of soccer, fashion, culture and community ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The nationwide initiative brings together influential voices in American streetwear and design at a moment when soccer is increasingly shaping culture in the United States. As the country prepares to host the world's biggest sporting event, the collections showcase how soccer is influencing everything from fashion and music to art, identity, and self-expression.
Each collection reflects the creative identity of its city while contributing to a larger story about soccer’s growing cultural influence in America. Drawing inspiration from local history, art, music, architecture, and supporter culture, the collections reinterpret soccer through the lens of communities helping shape the future of the game. Wish Atlanta leaned into retro-inspired pullovers, long shorts, and oversized polos rooted in vintage soccer warm-up culture, while Boston’s ‘47 collection combines heavyweight tees and heritage outerwear with subtle nods to the Boston Tea Party and American independence.
Houston’s Premium Goods merges vintage Americana graphics and NASA-inspired mission patches into timeless athletic silhouettes, and Philadelphia’s Lapstone & Hammer draws from hand-painted signage aesthetics and distressed detailing reminiscent of classic American advertising. Additional collections take cues from iconic New York diner imagery, California chrome and car culture, military-inspired outerwear, and performance-driven streetwear.
“As we approach the 2026 FIFA World Cup, we’re continuing to see how deeply soccer is woven into the cultural fabric of communities across America,” said Maribeth Towers, Vice President of Consumer Products at U.S. Soccer. “These collections are about more than apparel. They celebrate the creativity and individuality that make each host city unique, while reflecting the powerful ways soccer continues to bring people together through culture, fashion, and fandom.”
Blending soccer heritage with contemporary design, the collections transformed traditional fan apparel into cultural expression. Through premium craftmanship, local storytelling, and distinctive creative perspectives, the initiative offers a new way for fans to connect with the sport during a defining moment for soccer in the United States.
Every partner brought a distinct perspective to the creative process, drawing inspiration from local neighborhoods, supporter culture, and the artistic movement shaping the future of soccer in the United States.
“Sports and fashion naturally feed off one another, and soccer is entering a new cultural moment in the U.S. As the sport continues to grow domestically, its visual language, from kits and scarves to training wear and club graphics, is increasingly influencing everyday style. Supporters shape fashion just as much as athletes do, turning soccer apparel into a form of lifestyle expression.” — Premium Goods.
The collections will launch beginning June 7 and will be released over a period of three days through select retail channels, with the broader initiative also featuring select MLS and NWSL clubs. Together, the collections represent a snapshot of soccer’s cultural evolution in America. By bringing together clubs, creators, communities, and supporters, the initiative celebrates the growing role soccer plays not only on the field, but across fashion, music, art, and everyday life as the nation prepares to welcome the world in 2026. The initiative reflects a broader shift in how soccer is experienced in the United States, not simply as a sport, but as a cultural force that inspires creativity, community, and connection.
