ATLANTA (July 23, 2026) — U.S. Women's Deaf National Team head coach Tricia Taliaferro has named 22 players to the roster for the team's upcoming training camp, scheduled for July 28-Aug. 2 at the Arthur M. Blank National Training Center in Fayetteville, Georgia.
The team returns to Fayetteville after participating in the ADAPTandTHRIVE Invitational, presented by Haleon, in May 2026. The camp will provide an opportunity for Taliaferro and her staff to continuefamiliarizing themselves with the overall player pool and strengthen team chemistry as the Deaf WNT progresses towards the 2027 DIFA World Deaf Football Championships to be held next November in Parramatta and Sydney, Australia.
"I'm really happy to get this group back together after a strong first camp at the ADAPTandTHRIVE Invitational," Taliaferro said. “We're bringing in a few players who missed that camp, so this second camp gives me my first real look at our full player pool. Our leaders sent a strong message at the end of ADAPTandTHRIVE for everyone to come in prepared, and that mentality of pushing and including each other is exactly what raises our standards. The momentum is high and this experience will push us to the next level of competition."
Sixteen players on the roster were part of the U.S. squad at the 2025 Deaflympics in Fukushima, Japan, including veterans Gracie Fitzgerald (Georgetown, Ind.), Holly Hunter (Temecula, Calif.), Ani Khachadourian (Cary, N.C.), Sophie Post (Murray, Utah), Paris Price (Fall City, Wash.) and Mia White (Littleton, Colo.).
This camp reflects the Federation’s commitment to the U.S. Way, by investing in resources, infrastructure, and comprehensive support for the Extended National Teams, including the Deaf National Teams, to ensure they are fully prepared to compete and succeed on the world stage.
