ATLANTA (Sept. 1,2026) -- U-17 Women’s National Team head coach Katie Schoepfer has chosen 24 players, all born in 2010, for a training camp running from Sept. 7-14 at U.S. Soccer’s new home in Fayetteville, Ga.
This is the first training camp of the new cycle for the U.S. U-17 WNT with players born in 2010, as the age groups change in the summer. Schoepfer will now transition from coaching the U.S. U-16 GNT to coachingthe U.S. U-17 WNT (primarily 2010 birth years) and begins preparation for qualifying for the 2027 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup. Schoepfer led the USA in the 2024 and 2025 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cups.
Fifteen different clubs are represented on this U.S. U-17 WNT roster with Solar SC and Real Colorado having three players each while Mountain View Los Altos FC and San Diego Surf SC will be represented with twoplayers each. The newly formed Gotham FC U-18s have four players on the roster.
This camp is a part of the Federation’s continued focus on the U.S. Way philosophy, which emphasizes increased programming for Youth National Teams to create more opportunities for young players to advance through the pathway to the senior National Team with the goal of representing their country at a world championship.
