ATLANTA (Sept. 22, 2026) -- U.S. Under-20 Men’s National Team head coach Gonzalo Segares has called 20 players to travel for International Training Camp in San Pedro Del Pinatar, Spain from Sept. 27 – Oct. 5 as they begin preparing for 2027 FIFA World Cup in Azerbaijan/Uzbekistan.
Over the course of the camp, the U.S. U-20 MNT is set to play two friendly matches at the Pinatar Arena against Brazil on Oct. 1 and Denmark on Oct. 4.
This is the fourth time the U.S. U-20 Men’s National Team will gather this year, but the first camp Segares will lead as he transitions to coach this team after leading the U.S. U-19 MNT last season.
There are 17 clubs represented on this roster, including 10 MLS clubs with Minnesota United FC and Los Angeles Galaxy leading with two players each. A combination of six European clubs, with two players from German Bundesliga club, Eintracht Frankfurt. Liga MX club, Tigres UANL is the only Mexican club represented on this roster with one player.
A total of ten players return from 2026 U-20 Men’s Concacaf Championship this past summer.

This camp is a part of the Federation’s continued focus on the U.S. Way philosophy, which emphasizes increased programming for Youth National Teams to create more opportunities for young players to advance through the pathway to the senior National Team with the goal of representing their country at a world championship.
