CHICAGO (Oct. 17, 2024) – U.S. Under-19 Women’s Youth National Team head coach Carrie Kveton has selected a 24-player roster for a training camp running from Oct. 24-30 in West Palm Beach, Fla.

Players born on or after Jan. 1, 2006, are age-eligible for this U-19 WYNT cycle. For this camp, Kveton selected nine players born in 2006 and 15 born in 2007. All players in the U-19 WYNT player pool are age-eligible for the next FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, which will be held in Poland in 2026.

This roster features two players – defender Reese Klein and midfielder Neely Kerr – who were alternates on the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Team, and one, midfielder Addison Halpern, who was on that roster which finished third at the World Cup in Colombia, but she did not see action in the tournament.

The 24 players hail from 18 states – including one player each from Oklahoma, Nevada and Hawaii -- and 17 youth club players from 15 different youth clubs, plus three players in the new USL Super League, two at IMG Academy in Florida and three professional players. Forward Miri O'Donnell is playing professionally in Portugal for Sporting CP while midfielder Zoe Mathews recently signed with the Houston Dash in the NWSL. Goalkeeper Charlotte Burge has signed a professional contract with Carolina Ascent FC in the USL SL, making her, at 18-years-old, the youngest professional GK in the United States.
