Five U.S. Soccer Disability National Teams to Participate in First National Team Camps Held at the Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center
U.S. Soccer will host the fifth annual ADAPTandTHRIVE Invitational, presented by Haleon, from May 18-24 at the Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center. The joint training camps, which bring together the Federation’s five Disability National Teams as well as five distinct Disability Soccer Organizations, will be the first National Team camps held at the groundbreaking facility since its grand opening earlier this month.

What is the ADAPTandTHRIVE Invitational?
The ADAPTandTHRIVE program is a first-of-its-kind combination of soccer-based initiatives which aims to impact the disability community. When people hear the word “adapt,” they often think of a person with a disability, but in the context of U.S. Soccer’s Extended National Teams Department, the word "adapt" is meant for everyone – for people with and without disabilities. It’s about National Associations, partners, organizations, and society, in general, taking the opportunity to think differently, with inclusive mindsets, thereby creating opportunities for all to experience and "thrive" because of it.
The ADAPT𝘢𝘯𝘥THRIVE Invitational presented by Haleon brings together individuals from diverse soccer backgrounds and abilities to participate in a soccer event that celebrates inclusivity and promotes interaction and collaboration. The inaugural ADAPTandTHRIVE Invitational was held in January 2022 in Lakewood Ranch, Fla.
When is the 2026 ADAPTandTHRIVE Invitational?
The 2026 ADAPTandThrive Invitational will take place from May 18-24 with multiple training sessions, camps and matches taking place throughout the week.
Which National Teams are participating in the 2026 ADAPTandTHRIVE Invitational?
The Federation’s five Disability National Teams will participate in the Invitational with the U.S. Men’s Cerebral Palsy (CP) National Team competing in two international challenge matches against Scotland.
- U.S. Women’s Deaf National Team - Training May 21-24
- U.S. Men’s Deaf National Team- Training May 21-24
- U.S. Men’s Cerebral Palsy (CP) National Team - Training May 19-23
- Match 1 vs. Scotland – May 21 at 4:15 p.m. ET
- Match 2 vs. Scotland – May 22 at 7:30 p.m. ET
- U.S. Women’s Cerebral Palsy (CP) National Team - Training May 20-23
- U.S. Power Soccer National Team - Training May 21-23

Yes, the CP MNT matches on May 21 and May 22 against Scotland will be streamed live via U.S. Soccer’s YouTube channel.
Which Disability Soccer Organizations are participating in the 2026 ADAPTandTHRIVE Invitational?
Five Disability Soccer Organizations will participate in the Invitational:
- USA Deaf Soccer Association: The USA Deaf Soccer Association serves as the governing body for Deaf Soccer in the United States whose mission is to empower d/Deaf and Hard of Hearing female and male soccer players with the opportunity to represent and contribute to the United States of America and the d/Deaf and Hard of Hearing community on both a national and international stage.
- USA Deaf Soccer will host its inaugural Youth Development Camp from May 21-23.
- Down Syndrome Sports of America – Futsal: Down Syndrome Sports of America - Futsal, is a National Sports and non-profit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of athletes with Down syndrome who want to develop and compete in sports.
- DSSA Futsal will host a three-day training camp from May 21-23.
- Atlanta Amputee Soccer: Atlanta Amputee Soccer has provided individuals living with limb difference meaningful access to a growing discipline of the game, allowing them to engage and build community while striving to accomplish much more in their daily lives.
- Atlanta Amputee Soccer will hold a training session on May 23 at 11 a.m. ET.
- CP Soccer: CP Soccer’s mission is to build a nationwide soccer league for kids who are affected by cerebral palsy, stroke or traumatic brain injury.
- CP Soccer will hold a two-day training camp from May 22-23.
- U.S. Youth Soccer TOPSoccer: The Outreach Program for Soccer is a recreational sports program for children and adults with intellectual, emotional, or physical disabilities offered only through local US Youth Soccer-affiliated soccer clubs.
- TOPSoccer will hold a Disability Soccer Play Day on May 23 from 10 a.m. to noon ET.
