Griffin Dorsey (New England Revolution vs. Orlando City SC) - The 2023 Open Cup champion and first-year Lion opened his Orlando City account emphatically, leveling the contest against the New England Revolution with a smashing, top-bins finish on the volley.
Beau Leroux (San Jose Earthquakes vs. Minnesota United FC) - En route to his first Quakes brace, the 22-year-old San Jose native gathered a loose ball in the box and dribbled through the Minnesota defense before unleashing a lethal shot that found the back of the net.
Alexey Miranchuk (Charlotte FC vs. Atlanta United FC) - The veteran Russia international and three-time Russian Cup winner tallied his first Open Cup goal, scoring a lofted, left-footed finish to sink I-85 Derby rival Charlotte FC on the road.
Erik Sviatchenko (Houston Dynamo FC vs. Louisville City FC) - In just his second Open Cup match since winning the tournament with Houston in 2023, Sviatchenko converted on a pinpoint Héctor Herrera cross with a dramatic diving header in the 89th minute to send the contest against Louisville City FC to extra time.
Drake Callender (San Jose Earthquakes vs. Minnesota United FC) - The first-year Loon made a quick diving stop late against San Jose to deny Jack Skahan’s bid for a brace.

Matt Freese (Red Bull New York vs. New York City FC) - The USMNT goalkeeper picked up his first career Open Cup victory and helped NYCFC defeat Hudson River Derby foe Red Bull New York thanks to a full-extension stop early at Sports Illustrated Stadium.
Christian Herrera (Colorado Rapids vs. Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC) - The 2024 USL Championship title-winner stood tall to stifle Colorado’s potential winner in second-half stoppage time, ensuring the match would be extended into extra time.
