The strong crowds in the first senior-team matchessince the 2026 FIFA World Cup offer a clear sign of continued fan demand.
The matches, played across the men’s September and women’s October FIFA windows, brought fans to stadiums in markets across the country. The sellouts were in Orlando, Glendale and Washington D.C.
“We’re seeing more fans connect with our national teams, and the demand is clear,” said Chief Business Officer David Wright. “Fans packed stadiums, tuned in, and engaged in record numbers. That energy reflects the growing connection between our teams and fans across the country. There is a real opportunity to keep building on this momentum as we seek to create lasting growth for the game.”

Fan interest extended to the broadcast audience: TNT and Telemundo each reported notable viewership milestones for the USMNT’s Oct. 3 match against Mexico.
• TNT Sports’s English-language broadcasts earned a combined average of 626,000 viewers, a 97% increase over the teams’ previous meeting in October 2024.
• Telemundo’s Spanish-language broadcast was the network’s most-watched and most-streamed USMNT match since it acquired Spanish-language rights in 2023.
• Telemundo’s broadcast averaged 1.7 million viewers and peaked at 2.22 million viewers, ranking as the top-watched Spanish-language sporting event of the week.
Strong attendance across all six matches also drove meaningful revenue that helps power U.S. Soccer's mission. “When we look at the numbers, it’s clear that the demand for soccer in this country is incredibly high,” said U.S. Soccer Vice President of Events John Terry. “Our number one goal is to grow the sport of soccer in this country. We want everyone to be able to watch our national team and by offering fan friendly pricing for our matches, we are turning more people into soccer fans with every match we host."
