Rahul plays a pivotal role in strengthening U.S. Soccer's relationships with FIFA, Concacaf, professional domestic leagues, and key stakeholders across the sport’s ecosystem.

With a focus on advancing U.S. Soccer's influence and driving business growth, Rahul leads strategic initiatives to enhance the Federation’s position as a global soccer leader while safeguarding its brand and reputation. His focus includes driving strategic initiatives that impact U.S. Soccer’s growth, managing crisis and risk response, fostering alignment among stakeholders, and identifying opportunities for organizational expansion. This includes planning for the 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup and bidding on the 2031 FIFA Women's World Cup.

Prior to this role, Rahul held leadership positions across the sports industry, including serving as Chief External Relations Officer for U.S. Soccer, where he led all communications and membership. Before joining U.S. Soccer, he was Chief Communications and Public Affairs Officer for the San Francisco 49ers, one of the NFL's most recognizable franchises. Prior to joining the 49ers, Rahul was influential in securing the public-private partnership that prevented the relocation of the NBA's Sacramento Kings and developed the Golden 1 Center. He holds a B.A. from U.C. Irvine and a J.D. from U.C. Davis School of Law.

A trusted voice in sports leadership, Rahul is deeply committed to advancing the growth of soccer (and fostering rescue dogs).
