Bio
Abe Geiger is a product executive with 20 years of experience founding, building, and scaling software companies. He is passionate about leveraging technology and data to help established industries evolve and innovate. At U.S. Soccer, Abe oversees integrated product development, including software, data, and digital experiences impacting talent ID and development, fan engagement, and ecosystem services.
Abe joined U.S. Soccer from the Stagwell Marketing Cloud, a division of global holding company Stagwell. As Chief Product Officer, he led the development of software and data products for in-house marketing professionals spanning a wide range of disciplines, including research, media activation, communications, and sports partnerships. Prior to Stagwell, Abe was the Chief Product Officer at Hudson MX, where he was responsible for growing the product from a local TV buying tool to a full suite of buying, billing, and payment solutions for agency holding companies.
Abe's passion for entrepreneurship has been evident throughout his career. He was the Founder and CEO of Shake, a venture-backed legal tech startup, that was acquired by LegalShield. After joining LegalShield, Abe oversaw the development and launch of a suite of successful new digital products, while also rebuilding the company's legacy technology infrastructure. He has held various other early-stage software company operating roles, including sales, marketing, product and business development across several industries, including big data pioneer Palantir and a soccer startup focused on technical development for youth players.
Growing up in East Lansing Michigan, Abe spent most of his childhood on the soccer field. He won six state and two regional championships with Vardar and represented the regional and Youth National Teams from U-14 through U-20. He has also served as a referee and youth coach.
Abe attended Stanford University, where he majored in Political Science and captained the soccer team for three years. He received his MBA from Columbia Business School, during which time he studied entrepreneurship and venture capital and worked at Venture Capital firms Greycroft and Canaan Partners.
He has also served on the boards of America Scores New York, an after-school soccer and poetry program, and Brooklyn Heights Montessori School.
