Bio

Chelle Adams is the Chief Financial Officer at U.S. Soccer. She manages the Federation’s budget and overseeing all finances for the National Governing Body, which is also a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Chelle has also been instrumental in the realization of the new Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center, a state-of-the-art facility which will serve as the Federation’s new home and headquarters as well as a beacon for soccer in our country.

Prior to U.S. Soccer, Chelle served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Transformation Officer at SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment where she was responsible for the organization’s overall growth strategy by leading domestic and international business development and expansion activities including hotels, licensing, new parks, and expansion of existing parks and offerings. She was also responsible for streamlining and re-engineering organizational processes and implementing high-value initiatives of the transformation strategy.

Prior to SeaWorld, Chelle served as the Chief Financial Officer for The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas where she had full oversight of the company’s day-to-day external and internal accounting and reporting functions, including planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company and driving process improvement across the organization. She served a key role within the Executive Management Team which drove business transformation and growth under Blackstone’s ownership and was actively involved in the financial due diligence for Blackstone’s sale of the property in May 2022.

Chelle’s versatile background includes more than 29years of finance, internal audit, process improvement and transformation experience within public companies, private equity and public accounting including a Big 4 public accounting firm and the largest accounting/consulting firm in St. Louis where she founded and was the Partner-in-Charge of the Gaming and Hospitality Industry Group. She has broad industry experience across gaming, hotel, restaurant, retail, theme parks, sports and manufacturing.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Chelle was active in her civic and personal life serving as the Audit Committee Chair for SafeNest, Nevada’s largest and most comprehensive nonprofit devoted solely to domestic violence issues. She also served as the Treasurer of the Board for The Mob Museum, a Founding Board Member for the Women’s Hospitality Initiative, a Financial Advisory Board Member for UNLV, and an Advisory Board Member for The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Gaming Audit Group. She previously served as an Executive Committee Member for the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women Campaign, Board Member, Treasurer and Alumni of the St. Louis Business Diversity Initiative and Board Member of the Asian American Chamber of Commerce, St. Louis Chapter. Chelle also served as a volunteer coach for both her daughter’s and son’s soccer teams when they first started in the sport.

Recognized for her professional and personal accomplishments, she was awarded Vegas Inc.’s Women Inspiring Nevada (2020), MANAO’s Asian Woman of Inspiration (2020), FEI’s Las Vegas CFO of the Year - Gaming & Hospitality Industry (2018), St. Louis’ 40 Under 40 Leaders (2012) and St. Louis’ Most Influential Minority Business Leaders (2008). Chelle received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting at Truman State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
